SRJC Men's basketball battled today a tough Fresno City team and won 88-86 to take 3rd place in the SFCC Tournament. Fresno City pre-season ranked 3rd in state knocked down (15) 3's in the game and shot over 50% from behind the arc. 

The Bear Cubs battled all night and Nick Cole with under 10 seconds hit a corner three pointer to take the lead. Final play the bear cubs got a steal and sealed the win. 

Bear Cubs had a huge night off the bench in Landon Courtman, who had 13 points and (2) 3's down the stretch run. Bear Cubs also got scoring from the bench in Ahmad Chambers 8 points and (2) 3's as well. 

Bear Cubs improve to (2-1) on the season. Next game is Friday November 9th, @ Foothill College.
