Santa Rosa, Calif. — Santa Rosa Junior College Volleyball is proud to announce that Lily Comma and Amber Smart have been named to the Big 8 All-Conference Second Team, recognizing their standout performances during the 2025 season.
Big 8 Conference All-Conference honors are awarded annually to the league’s top student-athletes, celebrating excellence in performance, consistency, and impact on team success.
Comma was a key contributor for the Bear Cubs throughout the season, providing stability and leadership while consistently delivering in high-pressure situations. Her all-around play was on display, leading all setters in the conference in total points scored – through kills, blocks, and aces, while running the Bear Cub offense.
Smart also earned recognition for her strong season, showcasing versatility, resilience, and a relentless work ethic. Her contributions on defense made her 2nd in conference in digs per set and 3rd in conference in total digs.
“These honors reflect Lily’s and Amber’s commitment to their development, their teammates, and the program,” said SRJC head coach Ally Sather. “Both of these athletes exemplify what it means to compete with purpose and pride, and we are incredibly proud to see their efforts recognized at the conference level.”
Santa Rosa Junior College Volleyball continues to build momentum within one of the state’s most competitive conferences, with Comma and Smart’s selections underscoring the program’s growth and depth.
