Coach Ulises Vasquez enters his first season (Fall 2025) as an Assistant Coach with the SRJC Women’s Soccer Program, bringing over 12 years of coaching experience in Sonoma County's competitive youth club scene.
Coach Ulises developed a love for soccer early in life. After relocating to Santa Rosa, he graduated from Santa Rosa High School and later attended Santa Rosa Junior College, where he studied Graphic Design while beginning his coaching career.
Coach Ulises holds a USSF National D License and has worked extensively with youth players across multiple age groups and skill levels. His coaching approach focuses on holistic development—emphasizing technical skills, tactical awareness, and especially the mental and emotional well-being of his players.
His coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that emotional intelligence, confidence, and resilience are as vital as physical ability. Through creating a supportive, player-first environment, he aims to develop strong, well-rounded individuals who succeed on and off the field.
Known for his commitment to community, his ability to connect with players, and his calm, thoughtful leadership style, Vasquez is a strong addition to the SRJC coaching staff.
