​The Bear Cubs (14-3, 4-1) were back on the road to take on the Panthers (10-8, 4-2) of Sacramento City College. The Bear Cubs scored the first three points in the opening minute on one free throw by Kaia Eubanks and Jordan Washington's 10-footer on a baseline inbounds pass from Elle Picard. About a minute later, Washington was successful on a left-handed drive. Her single free throw at the 6:54 mark put the Bear Cubs ahead 6-0. The Panthers responded with a 9-0 run for a 9-6 lead with 3:45 on the clock. Amanda Hart banked in a 1-footer off of Abby Tacla's assist on the Bear Cubs' next possession. Sierra Tuliau and Noelle Potratz both made a basket to stretch their lead to 13-8 with 2:25 left. About a minute after that, Washington scored on a drive, and the next time down Picard drained a baseline 3-pointer to tie the score at 13-13 with 46 seconds to go. With the Bear Cubs over the foul limit, Madeline Young was fouled away from the basket, and went to the free throw line where she made one free throw to put the Panthers in front 14-13 as the quarter ended.

​The Panthers started the second quarter with the ball, and Sierra Tuliau drew a shooting foul. She made just the first free throw. Sydney Martin scored five points on a drive and a 3-pointer at the 6:42 mark. Leilani Edinburgh and Tuliau hit consecutive 3-pointers to retake the lead 21-18 with 6:04 on the clock. Jordan Washington's 1-footer off of Shasta Vlasak's assist and Kaia Eubanks' 4-foot one-hander put the Bear Cubs in front 22-21. Gabby Jackson scored inside, Amanda Hart swished a 3-pointer from straight ahead, and Madeline Young made two free throws with 3:09 left to tie the score at 25-25. The Bear Cubs finished the period with a 13-2 run comprised of Washington's 15-footer off a baseline inbounds pass from Elle Picard, Hailey Webb's 3-pointer off of Washington's pass, Eubanks' low post move, Washington's 6-footer off of Webb's pass, and Webb's 1-footer on a cut and assist from Eubanks. By halftime the Bear Cubs held a 38-27 advantage.

​In the first minute of the third quarter Leilani Edinburgh scored a field goal, and Jordan Washington made two free throws. During the next two minutes Sydney Grant and Gabby Jackson each sank short shots, and Kaia Eubanks went to the free throw line twice, making two out of four free throws. Eubanks scored on a low post move, and then Sierra Tuliau hit a shot from the wing. Eubanks again drew a shooting foul. She made the first free throw. Her second bounced off the rim, and Washington grabbed the rebound and tossed in the putback for a 47-35 lead at the 5:27 mark. During the remainder of the period the Panthers added a 3-pointer and a field goal. The Bear Cubs tallied nine more points on Shasta Vlasak's 10-footer, her 3-pointer, Eubanks' 6-foot pullup jumper, and her 1-footer off of Elle Picard's assist to widen their lead to56-40.

​In the first four minutes of the fourth quarter, the Panthers scored three points on Noelle Potratz's one free throw and one field goal. Meanwhile, Kaia Eubanks made three field goals. By the 3-minute mark, the Panthers had added one free throw by Marina Bahrami, a field goal by Leilani Edinburgh, and a 3-pointer by Jayda Anderson. For the Bear Cubs Jordan Washington scored on a drive, Amanda Hart hit an 8-footer, and Washington tossed in a 2-footer. In the final three minutes of the contest, Sierra Tuliau scored six points on a 3-pointer and a 3-point play, and Charlize Miles made one last basket with four seconds to go. The Bear Cubs added five points on Caitlin Baldwin's 3-pointer off of Anabel Arcilla's baseline inbounds pass, and Sydney Martin's 3-footer to make the final score 73-57.

​The Panthers came into the game averaging 72.0 points per game and 7 made 3-pointers per game. The Bear Cubs' defense held the Panthers to 57 points and 5 3-pointers. In the critical second quarter, the Bear Cubs made 10 out of 17 shots (59%), including 3 out of 7 (43%) from 3-point range to outscore their hosts 25-13 and take the lead for good. Two Panthers reached double figures: Sierra Tuliau with 16 and Leilani Edinburgh 14.

Jordan Washington led the Bear Cubs with her 11th double-double with 23 points and 16 rebounds. Kaia Eubanks made 8 field goals and 4 free throws for 20 points. Amanda Hart and Sydney Martin each added 7 points, Hailey Webb and Shasta Vlasak 5 each, and Caitlin Baldwin and Elle Picard 3 each. Sydney Martin and Elle Picard each grabbed 6 rebounds. Elle Picard passed for 5 assists. Jordan Washington blocked 6 shots.
