This is Adriana Cortes-Rosas' third year coaching Cross Country and Track & Field at Santa Rosa Junior College. Adriana Cortes-Rosas is a Sonoma County native and attended Windsor High School. Currently, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at Sonoma State University and has obtained an AA in Science in Natural Sciences degree from Santa Rosa Junior College. Adriana Cortes-Rosas' discipline was the 800M. and also was part of the 4x100M and 4x400M relays. Adriana Cortes-Rosas is a Santa Rosa Junior College Alumni. Adriana Cortes-Rosas noted that the campus culture and camaraderie among students, professors, and faculty were welcoming and full of life during her time as a student. "It felt right to return to my roots and be given the opportunity to coach here. SRJC holds a legacy of excellence in academics and sports and I want to do my part in keeping this tradition. My goal here is to be a proper role model for my athletes, keep them healthy, and get them to compete at the highest levels each season and life beyond SRJC," said Cortes-Rosas.
