Bear Cubs play under the lights at Sac City to pick up a 10-0 Win

Under the lights in Sac City's Stadium the Bear Cubs dominated play and picked up a 10-0 win to make them 10-2 overall and 5-2 in conference.

In the fourth minute, Megan Stavish sent a though ball to Kaleigh Alves who was making a run on the right hand side of the Panthers defense. Alves would win the ball to take on Keeper Brianna Gaviria and score the first goal of the game. Annika Cerini would also grab an assist and found Alves who then sent a left-footed rocket into the upper left corner of Gaviria's goal. Amanda Galbraith would grab the third goal as Shelly Marmaduke would find her at the top of the box. Galbraith would volley the ball to beat Gaviria. Galbraith would find the fourth goal as Annika Cerini would pick up another assist. Alves would seal her hat-trick in the thirty-first minute again making a run on the right side. Kaitlyn Haub would send Alves and grab the assist. Haub would grab her first goal in the thirty-sixth minute from the foot of Galbraith.

In the second half, the Panthers performed some defense and made some runs up the middle of the Bear Cub line. With great efforts, the Panthers challenged the line and had some chances in the second half. The first goal of the second half for the Bear Cubs came from Kaitlyn Haub as Janelle Schwartz would grab the assist. The second goal of the half would come from a free kick taken by Nikki Elliott. Janelle Schwartz who would execute the goal by slotting the ball to the right of Gaviria. In the sixty-sixth minute Karla Valverde would pick up a penalty shot as she was fouled in the box. Nikki Elliott would take the kick and grab the goal for the Bear Cubs. The tenth and final goal for the Bear Cubs came from freshman forward Cassidy Munson. Janelle Schwartz would find Munson on the right hand side as Munson was running towards the goal and then send it home with a left footed shot, ending the game 10-0 for the Bear Cubs.
