The Panthers scored two field goals before Angel Bernardi cut to the basket and caught the assist from Kylie Oden at the 6:01 mark. After two free throws the Panthers sank a 3-pointer, and Bernardi's 3 tied the score at 9 halfway through the period. Kylie Oden's 3-pointer a minute later followed by Bernardi's layup on another cut to the basket put the Bear Cubs ahead 14-9 with 3:04 left. The Panthers sank a 3-pointer with 1:27 remaining, and Bernardi drained a pull-up jumper to give the Bear Cubs a 16-12 lead at the end of the period.

Destiny Grayer's two free throws accounted for the first points of the second quarter after almost two minutes of play. The Panthers made their first basket of the quarter 31 seconds later and added another field goal before Kylie Oden's 3-pointer with 4:56 on the clock. The Panthers finished with a 3-pointer of their own from the left baseline with 5.1 seconds to go, making the score 39-27 at halftime.

The Panthers scored the first 9 points of the fourth quarter on two free throws, two consecutive field goals, and a 3-pointer. Meanwhile the Bear Cubs turned the ball over four times in a row before Kylie Oden finally sank their first shot of the period--a 3-pointer--with 7:12 on the clock, making the score 64-46. Oden hit two 3-pointers about a minute apart to get the lead to 72-51 with 3:51 remaining. The Panthers finished with a field goal and a 3-pointer to account for the final score of 72-56.
