Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs defeated Mendocino College Eagles 15-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Abby Mendoza induced a groundout from Erika Olsen to finish off the game.

The Bear Cubs secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the first inning. Haley Titone, Sullivan Henry, Cayla Nixon, Anna Zoia-Buescher, Olivia Gabriel, and Titone each had RBIs in the frame. SRJC got things moving in the first inning. Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs scored on a stolen base during Titone's at bat. Then Titone tripled , driving in one.

For Mendocino College Eagles was a single by Erika Olsen in the first inning. Mandy O'Keefe earned the victory in the circle for Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs . The righthander surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out three and walking zero. Mendoza threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Shaelyn McIntire took the loss for Mendocino College Eagles. The righthander allowed zero hits and two runs.  Bear Cubs tallied 14 hits in the game. Henry, Gabriel, Lily Castro, Titone, and Zoia-Buescher each managed multiple hits for Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs . Gabriel and Henry all had three hits to lead Santa Rosa Junior College Bear Cubs .
