Santa Rosa Men's Water Polo team had a strong showing this past weekend at the Delta College tournament. The team had an impressive 3-1 tournament record, bringing their overall record to 4-4 on the year.
In the first game, a 19-5 victory over Ohlone, sophomore captain Ethan Wolgamott and freshman Beau Franzen both scored four goals, while freshman Bradley John Erickson led the team with 3 steals.
The second game was a close battle with Merced, ending in a 11-6 loss for the Bear Cubs. Sophomore Ryan Roland led the low scoring game with two goals.
On Saturday Morning, the Bear Cubs were able to hold off De Anza College with a 9-7 victory. Sophomore captain Jesse Schmidt led the team with 3 goals.
SRJC then concluded the tournament with a 10-4 win over Las Positas. Sophomore goalie Kyle Kehoe had his best game of the year, tallying 13 blocks and 2 steals.
The Bear Cubs look to repeat their success at this weekend's tournament hosted by De Anza College in Cupertino.
