The Bear Cub Football Team remains unbeaten on the season after a 17-14 win at Sac City on Saturday night. The win was led by an aggressive and hard hitting defense, that included linebackers Henry Stelzner, Miles Gardea, Presley Piliati, Brendan White and Ryan Frazier and defensive backs Justin Tauaefa, and Jaise Griffey. Once again the special teams came to play. Punter Dalton Mullins (#1 in the State) created field position all night with bombs deep into Sacramento City territory, and kicker Adros Perdoza (school record holder) made a 4th quarter arrival just in time to kick a game winner from 35 yards out. The Bear Cubs offense had no problem moving the football but 4 fumbles and a big 4th and goal stop by the Panthers kept them out of the end zone most of the night. The game winning TD was a 35 yard pass from Mitch Hood to Kerr Johnson Jr. This week the Bear Cubs travel to Rocklin to play Sierra College.
