Then SRJC Bear Cubs will host Big 8 Conference opponent, American River College, at Quinn Swim Center, this Wednesday, at 5:00pm. With a current conference record of 1-1, the Bear Cubs look to better their record as they take on the ARC Beavers at home. The Beavers, a notorious counter-attack team, also 1-1 in conference, comes to Santa Rosa with a strong, but smaller squad of eight players. Head Coach, Chelsea Hennan remarks "we need to step up our defensive efforts and use our smaller pool to our advantage to shut down their counter-attack to get the win."

The Bear Cubs hit the road the following morning heading off to the Cuesta Tournament in San Luis Obispo. SRJC's first match up of the weekend is against defending 2014 State Champions Fullerton College, at 10:10am, Friday Oct 2.
