It was a rough finish for the Bear Cubs this weekend at the 7th Annual River Rage /tournament hosted by American River College. SRJC went up against strong socal competition including last year's state champions Golden West College. Nicole Groat (pictured) scored an impressive 11 goals averaging 3.6 goals per game. Dulcie Manchenton added a hat trick with 3 goals, and Amy Rider stuck one on the board in the Mt. SAC game on Saturday afternoon.

Goalie Lillie Konttinen totaled 21 saves in three games, and also had a steal and assist. The Bear Cubs look forward to hosting their conference opener versus the Delta College Mustangs of Stockton on Wednesday at 3:30pm.
