SRJC showed that they have room to grow despite previous successes on Friday against San Joaquin Delta College (17-25, 17-25, 15-25). The Bear Cubs did a good job of maintaining an even tempo throughout the match, but they came up short in the end. Sophomores Sophia Reoutt, Becca Steiner, and Bryce Gevas maintained strong serve receive for their team, passing an average of 2.3 during the match. Defensively they also contributed a total of 25 digs which setter Emily Bonfigli converted into 26 assists. The Bear Cubs have spent 774.3 miles on the road so far this season, growing with each mile traveled, and they are beyond excited to finally be home on Wednesday, October 8th at 6:30pm against Sierra College.
