Connor Van Alstyne enters his first year as the head coach of SRJC Men's and Women's Tennis teams. Van Alstyne attended local high schools Cardinal Newman and Montgomery and also attended SRJC from 2008-2010 where he played for former coach, Jay Samonte. 

In his two seasons at SRJC, Van Alstyne was a finalist in the Big 8 Conference Singles Tournament, won the Big 8 Conference Doubles Tournament, and had a ranking of #1 in the Big 8 Conference in doubles with former Bear Cub KC Ensley.

Graduating with a B.A. in Marketing from the University of San Francisco in 2012, Van Alstyne came back to Sonoma County where he has since played tennis amongst the local and regional communities.

Aside from coaching and playing tennis, Van Alstyne enjoys rooting for all his favorite Bay Area sports teams, snowboarding, and traveling.
