Women's Soccer goes 1-1 against socal teams at LPC Tournament

Women's soccer competed in the Las Positas tournament this past weekend against two southern California teams.

The Bear Cubs fought hard in the first game against Canyons College, but late in the second half, they fell 1-0 from a shot inside of the box.

The second game against Ventura College would bring out the fight in the Bear Cubs. Coming out strong the Bear Cubs went up 1-0 at half with a close range goal from Pricilla Villalobos. In the second half, the SRJC went on a roll and would score three more goals, to win the game 4-0. Natasha Wallace would put the Bear Cubs up 2-0 scoring on a set piece. Kaleigh Alves would score two goals securing the game for the Cubs, a left-footed rocket and a 1v1 against the goalkeeper. 

SRJC will begin conference play on September 12th at Delta.
