On a freezing cold, pouring down rainy evening at Folsom Lake College, the Bear Cubs would take the field with one thing in their minds, to win. The preparation, dedication, and heart the Bear Cubs showed in the third round playoff game will go down in history. Every play was executed with passion and a never give up mentality with their battle against the Falcons. The Bear Cubs would have a couple chances in each half, completely dominating regular time play. The fans were ready to rush the field as they were willing the Bear Cubs towards a win. The Bear Cubs momentum and passion for the game, shined through into overtime. However, overtime play showed the Falcons strategy in pushing for penalty kicks. The Bear Cubs would give every thing they had and would leave their hearts on the field, but their season would end Saturday night. This is the second year in a row the Bear Cubs have made it to the third round of playoffs, and you can plan on many more all heart, commanding performances next season.
