Wrestling improves to 7-2 with conference win over Skyline College.

The no. 7 ranked Bear Cubs scored a 33-19 Coast Conference win over Skyline College this week. SRJC improved their dual meet record to 7-2 on the season and 2-1 in the Coast Conference.

Cameron Casey (pictured), ranked no. 3 at 174 lbs, scored a pin in 0:09 seconds to improve his record to 18-3 with 6 pins. Jhaylyn Hall, ranked no. 1 in state at 184 lbs, scored a pin in 0:48 seconds of the first period to improve his record to 12-1 with 7 pins. Karim Shakur ranked no. 7 in state continued his winning ways with a second round pin.  Josh Wright ranked no. 8 scored a 23-5 technical fall.

The next action for the Bear Cubs is Friday, November 2 in a double dual at Chabot vs. Sierra and East LA College.
