Leslie played basketball and ran cross country at Santa Rosa Christian. After high school she played for the Bear Cubs under Coach Lacey Campbell for two years (2005-2007) after which she assisted for one. She graduated from SRJC with an Associate Degree and then transferred to Simpson University in Redding, California. A shooting guard for the Simpson Red Hawks, she was team captain and earned a BA in psychology in 2010. Following graduation, Leslie returned to Santa Rosa and the Bear Cubs’ coaching staff. Leslie moved to Oregon after the 2016-17 season and worked in a Veterinary Clinic. She moved back to Santa Rosa just before the start of this season and re-joined the coaching staff. Hirshfield is an avid crossfit athlete and an animal lover.
