Lacey Campbell enters her 13th season at the helm of SRJC’s Women’s Basketball program.  Since arriving at Santa Rosa, Campbell has led the Bear Cubs to one state title (2011) and four conference titles.  In that time she has produced 11 All State players, 22 All Conference players, 5 Big 8 Players of the Year, and the 2011 CCCAA State Tournament Player of the Year.

The 2014-2015 Bear Cubs compiled an overall record of 15-15 and 8-6 in conference play, bringing her SRJC coaching record to 225-95 overall and 108-28 in conference.  Under Campbell’s leadership SRJC women’s basketball has made four appearances to the CCCAA State Championship Tournament.

Campbell is a faculty member in the Kinesiology, Dance and Athletics Department and has taught and coached at SRJC since the Fall of 2004. Prior to taking over the program in 2005, Campbell served as SRJC’s assistant coach for one year. 

Campbell lettered in three sports at Point Arena High School, compiling a record of 91-13 in basketball where her team captured four league titles.  She played for Sonoma State University and helped the Seawolves advance to regional playoffs twice during her career. Campbell tried out for the German professional basketball league after college, but decided to accept a coaching position at SRJC.

Campbell graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy and received her Masters Degree in Sports Science and Coaching from the National Sports Academy.

Campbell is a crossfit athlete, enjoys home improvement projects and baking as well as spending time with friends, family, and her dog Tanner.
