In the Consolation Final of the CCSF Tournament, the Bear Cubs (4-4) faced the Trojans of Skyline College (5-4), who survived a tight contest against Laney College, 63-60, the previous round. The Trojans got the ball first and scored on a drive. The Bear Cubs scored on their first possession when Britta Irvine passed inside to Shayla Newman as she rolled open near the hoop. The Trojans then went on a 9-0 run before Lilly Orozco made a strong move to the basket and drew a foul as she made the shot. She missed the free throw with 5:47 on the clock. The Trojans sank a 12-footer. Then at the 4:47 mark, Orozco again was able to sink the inside shot while being fouled. She missed the free throw, keeping the score at 6-13. The Trojans added a field goal, and Maiya Flores dropped in a pull-up jumper with 3:24 left. Their next trip down Orozco maneuvered inside and sank a left handed semi-hook shot to get to 10-15. The Trojans made their last basket of the quarter with 2:22 left. The Bear Cubs got baskets form Shayla Newman and Flores to close the gap to 14-17 by the end of the period.

The Trojans scored the first six points of the second quarter. Cammie Barsuglia's 3-pointer at the 5:05 mark turned out to be the Bear Cubs' only basket of the period. The Trojans finished off the quarter with eight more points, while the Bear Cubs only tallied one free throw each from Cammie Barsuglia and Lilly Orozco, leading to a 31-19 Skyline advantage by halftime.

The Bear Cubs scored the first four points of the third quarter on two free throws by Shayla Newman and Maddie Strom's baseline 10-footer. The Trojans hit a 3-pointer with 7:14 on the clock, and then Strom sank another baseline shot. The Trojans scored two quick baskets. Lilly Orozco drew a shooting foul and made one free throw. On their next possession, Britta Irvine swished a 3-pointer just before the midway point of the quarter. DJ Hayes scored on a lay-up after her defensive pressure forced the Trojans to throw a bad pass, which was intercepted by Cammie Barsuglia. As their shot clock was about to expire, Giselle Mahinay tossed up a fall-away 30-footer that swished through the net. Maiya Flores' 3-pointer with 50 seconds left made the score 34-41. After both teams missed their next shot, Mahinay got the ball with 3 seconds left, took a couple of dribbles and launched a desperation shot from three feet in the backcourt. The ball banked in as the buzzer sounded, giving the Trojans a 44-34 lead.

The Trojans started the fourth quarter with six unanswered points, as the Bear Cubs repeatedly turned the ball over before DJ Hayes and Maiya Flores scored consecutive baskets. Shayla Newman's two free throws with 6:41 on the clock made the deficit 40-51. During the next 4:50, the Bear Cubs only got off three shots due to turnovers and the Trojans' hustle on offense. The Trojans made three field goals but controlled the clock as they kept coming up with offensive rebounds and using up time. Maiya Flores' 3-pointer with 50 seconds left was the final basket of the game, making the final score in their loss 43-57.

After making 7 out of 18 shots in the first quarter (39%), the Bear Cubs made only 1 out of 11 (9%) in the second quarter. In the second half they made 50% of their shots but were only able to attempt 16. The Trojans hustled after 19 offensive rebounds, which led to the low number of shot attempts by the Bear Cubs. Giselle Mahinay, who was selected to the All Tournament team, led all scorers with 21 points, including 3 out of 4 from beyond the arc.

Maiya Flores led the Bear Cubs with 12 points. Shayla Newman and Lilly Orozco each scored 8 points, Maddie Strom, Cammie Barsuglia, and DJ Hayes 4 each, and Britta Irvine 3. Shayla Newman was the top rebounder with 9. Britta Irvine passed for 6 assists. Cammie Barsuglia came up with 3 steals.
