Men's Swimming 2017 Season Preview

After another top 10 finish (7th) at the 2016 CCCAA Swimming & Diving State Championships, SRJC Men's Swimming looks toward another strong season this year. 

The 2017 roster includes three key sophomore returners:

Bradley-John Erickson

  • 2016 All American
  • State Championship Finalist, 100 & 200 Breaststroke
  • Current school record holder, 200 Breaststroke

Drew Sipple

  • 2016 Big 8 Conference Champion, 1650 Free
  • 2016 First Team All Conference
  • 2016 All American
  • 2016 Academic All American, 
  • 2016 State Championship Finalist, 500 Free & 1650 Free, and

R.J. Williams2017 Team Captain

  • 2016 All American
  • State Championship Finalist, 100 Butterfly

The 2017 roster also welcomes seven new freshmen as well.  Stand-out newcomers include sprint specialist Nathan Parker, distance freestyler Grant Howell, and local breaststroker Sha'anan Levy

The Cubs opened the season at home at the NorCal Relays meet earlier this month and begin travel competition this weekend at the Los Rios Invitational hosted by Sac City College.
