Meredith-Ebie-Freed enters her first season of coaching at SRJC, after having player 4 year of soccer at Sonoma State University (1999-2003).  She graduated with a dgree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science, as well as a Master's in Nursing.  Meredith has been a full time ICU nurse for over 15 years and currently coaches with Empire Soccer Club.  She's originally from Reno, Nevada, and attnded Wooster High School.

At Wooster she was a team captain, team MVP and a 4A All Region First Team forward before being recruited to Sonoma State University on a NCAA D2 athletic scholarship.  Most recently she was inducted into the 2024 WHS Hall of Fame.  

Meredith holds a USSF National C License  Her coaching career consists of 3 Gold Region Titles and the 2023 State Cup Championship in NorCal Gold with Empire Soccer Club.

She has been married for 18 years to Eric Freed and is the very proud mom to their two girls Ella and Emery.
