2016–2017 Season Preview

Head Coach David Herrington is very excited about the 2017 season. The Bear Cubs will have one all-conference player, Michael Danielski returning from the 2016 season. Also returning from the 2016 season, Casey Hughes, Jordan Schnur, and Keaton Kithcart. New freshmen players for the 2016 season, Chapman Dundas (Windsor HS), Max Morris (Sir Francis Drake HS), Carson Falls (Cardinal Newman HS), Kasey Cazet (Rincon Valley Christian School), Jared Friday (Montgomery HS) and Cutter Dittman (El Molino HS).

  • 6th Place CCCAA State Championship (Desert Island CC, Rancho Mirage, CA)



2016 Season Highlights

The 2016 SRJC men's golf team successfully finished 2nd in the Big 8 Conference (North) Championship, 2nd in the Northern California Regional Championship and 6th in the CCAA State Championship.

SRJC won one Major Big 8 Tournament in Stockton, 5 of the 15 Big 8 Conference tournaments (North), finished 2nd in 10 of the other Big 8 Conference Tournaments (North).

After 15 Big 8 Conference tournaments (North), SRJC average team score was 386 and an average team individual score of 77.1.

SRJC had all six players, Jason Brendel, Stephen Santora, Michael Danielski, Taylor Myers, David Rigney and Eamonn Coughlin making the Big 8 All-Conference (North) team.
