Pitching, defense, and timely hitting. Mix 'em all together and it often equals a win. On Thursday afternoon, the Falcons got just enough of those three ingredients to claim a 4-3 victory over Santa Rosa at Falcon Diamond. Starting pitcher Olivia Aguigam scattered seven hits and walked just one batter to earn the win. Valerie Garcia and Kylee Boykin each collected three hits and had an RBI to lead the offense. The win was the Falcons' 10th of the season and moved the Falcons into a tie with Diablo Valley for sixth place in the Big 8 Conference standings at 4-13.
