The #12 American River College Football program won an exciting conference game on the road at Santa Rosa Junior College on Saturday, October 29th.
The Beavers jumped out to an early 7-0 lead 76 yard pass from Kenneth Lueth to Robert Freeman IV. The Beavers would add to their lead on a 37 yard field goal by Zach Schreiner in the 3rd quarter.
Santa Rosa would find life in the fourth quarter taking a 15-10 lead over the Beavers on a pair of touchdown runs. However, the Beavers would drive 5 plays and score on a 10 yard touchdown pass from Kenneth Lueth to Ian Simpson to take the lead and win the game 16-15.
The Beavers are now 3-0 in conference and will travel to take on conference rival Sierra College on Saturday, November 5th, at 1 PM.
